Mediating Effect of Intrinsic Motivation on the relationship between Islamic Work Ethics and Job Performance

Purpose: In this article, we examined the mediating effect of employees’ intrinsic motivation (IM) on relationship between Islamic work ethics (IWE) and job performance (JP) in higher education sector Pakistan. A correlational research design was employed to undertake crosssectional study. Methodology: This study conducted using a simple random sampling technique. Findings: The results reveal strong positive association IWE JP moderately relationships IM, IM JP. Further, also reveals that Intrinsic Motivation fully mediates impact performance. Significance: show there is significant Moreover, has mediated Research Limitations/Implications: most important beneficial contribution addition current introduction as component, which not been explored extensively prior studies. Employee can be noticed when concepts have IM. Practical Social Implications: confirms previous findings while adding new information perspective existing body knowledge. revealed regulating
